Deforestation

Deforestation is the act of removing existing natural vegetation that covers the soil or forest. It is typically done for human purposes such as agriculture, logging, and urbanization (. Lambin E. (1996) . Because these activities have a significant negative impact on the environment, economy, and society, deforestation is a major global concern.   

One of the effects  that Deforestation has is the loss of biodiversity is the diversity of animals, plants, fungi, and even microorganisms like bacteria that make up our natural environment. It is all the diverse sorts of life you'll find in one place. These many species and critters collaborate in complicated web-like ecosystems to keep things in balance and support life. Deforestation also contributes to climate change by reducing the levels of carbon dioxide that the nature absorb from the  atmosphere by increasing the concentration of the greenhouse gases. 

The impact  of deforestation  affects us in so many ways .Deforestation  can  cause soil erosion , where  the top soil is blown away or it is washed a way because the are no plants or trees on the ground surface. Deforestation can affect a country  too  , economically and socially   in positive and negative ways  .In relation to  the  social aspect,  the forestry  and other natural features are believed to   provide Shelters to so many ,with a growing population in Namibia, people will need place to live (https://www.worldometers.info/world-population/namibia-population/)  , by doing so people will need  to live in areas  where people never lived and by doing so they will need to clear the areas  by cutting  down trees and other, natural vegetation .Agricultural expansion  is also a key leading cause when it comes to deforestation , agriculture  is an economic factors  is it it is also believed to a source of income and at the same time it is also an economic indicator ,if there is an increase  in agriculture production  as a result of increased demand ,there will be a need of more supply which will require  land provision where land will still be cleared  again  in order to meet demand .Poverty is also  is what drives people to migrate from place to another leading to urbanization which alone bears the sole responsibility of deforestation (Myers,1994; Aron.,1991) 

Promoting sustainable land forestry management methods is crucial in the fight against deforestation. This should incorporate safeguarding. In conclusion, deforestation is a complicated problem with wide-ranging effects on the environment, society, and economy. Solving this problem will require a variety of ways that should include individual action, involvement, and intervention. Moreover, make sure that vital advantages are preserved so they may be used by future generations while preventing deforestation from escalating.
